The study of geography is about more than just memorizing places on a map. It’s about understanding the complexity of our world, appreciating the diversity of cultures that exists across continents. And in the end, it’s about using all that knowledge to help bridge divides and bring people together. ~ President Barack Obama

Through the teaching of Geography at St Robert’s children will develop an understanding of our locality; physical and human features, land use and how Morpeth has changed. They will learn about diverse places, people, resources and natural and human environments. They will learn the terms physical and human geography and understand what they mean. Children will learn to use an atlas and other maps effectively and will develop their fieldwork and mapping skills as they move through school.
